Madame Pho

Madame Pho offers great quality, authentic Vietnamese food on Belfast’s Botanic Avenue. The Small Plates are perfect for sharing; Veggie Spring Rolls wrapped in lettuce & dipped in Nuoc Cham Sauce, & Summer Rolls stuffed with delicious shredded vegetables served with  peanut sauce. The Salted Chilli Wok Fried Tofu is a super-spicy vegan option, as are the Crispy Cauliflower Wings & the Stir-Fried Broccoli in Garlic. And for seafood lovers, the Banh Mi with Panko King Prawns is a sandwich with serious attitude!

Mumbo Jerrys

Mumbo Jerrys has recently opened its doors in Dundonald serving up hand-crafted, crispy pizza, using authentic Italian ingredients. To start, we had the Halloumi Bites with chilli jam, the Buff Salad, & the incredible Mac ‘n’ Bac. But the stars of the show are the pizzas; the “G.O.A.T” has a pesto & beetroot base with goats cheese, broccoli, caramelised onion, & pumpkin seeds, & the “La Di Da” has Jerrys Red Sauce, Fior de Latte, mushroom, rocket, prosciutto, parmesan, & balsamic. These were accompanied by “Posh Fries” with parmesan & truffle, & a fresh couscous, broccoli & beetroot salad. The cocktail list features Mumbo Jerrys’ take on some traditional favourites. We enjoyed the Tiger Fizz, Bongo Bramble, & Marjorie Margarita.

Angel & Two Bibles

Buzz for entry and climb the stairway to Belfast’s newest hidden speakeasy cocktail bar. Cosy up with a cocktail by the fire or enjoy rooftop drinks on the heated outdoor terrace. There are two fabulous menus; “The Old Testament” paying homage to the bartenders who started it all-the “Papa Doble” is a dry daiquiri with sour notes, & “The New Testament” honouring the rebels who broke the rules & changed things for the better-“Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy” is a smoky mezcal treat!
