This was really difficult to narrow down to just ten, as there are so many other brilliant eateries that we have thoroughly enjoyed in 2021. But in the past year, we have visited all of these great venues on more than one occasion, and they have never failed to impress. So, in no particular order

for brilliant local produce, and excellent vegan choices.
3 Sagart
for delicious cheese, wines and small plates.
4 Edo
for a unique take on sharing plates with wonderful smoky flavours.
5 2Taps
for a touch of Spanish-style tapas and an amazing outdoor terrace.
6 Shed
for top-notch bistro fare using quality local ingredients.
7 No 14 The Georgian House
for fabulously fresh seafood and an ever-changing seasonal menu.
8 Oliver’s At Knock
for great Al Fresco casual dining in East Belfast.
9 Ginza Kitchen
for the best sushi and Asian cuisine in the city.
10 Buba
for vibrant Eastern Mediterranean food with fragrant herbs and spices.
