Experience the ultimate thrill this spooky season by soaring higher and faster above the treetops than any bat or broomstick, all in aid of funding life-changing research and care services in the community for those who are affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions.
Join Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS) at Colin Glen Forest Park on Monday 25th October for A Fright to Remember and be amongst the first in Northern Ireland brave enough to take on the Double-Dare Ultimate Zipline Challenge!
First, you will take on the 250m Forest Flyover Zipline, followed by the brand-new, adrenaline-pumping River Rapid Zipline, which features a 110ft high take-off platform. Enjoy stunning views of Belfast as you zoom down at speeds of up to 50mph, and at 700 metres distance, it is officially the longest thrill in Ireland! This never to be forgotten family-friendly experience is available for a spook-tacularly reduced charity package price of just £18 per person.
Colin Glen Operations Manager, Kieran Kelly comments; “As a community organisation, Colin Glen is very pleased to host fellow charity, Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke this Halloween. We look forward to supporting this great cause and welcoming participants to our Mountain Entrance to brave our ziplines and experience a true fright to remember!”
Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke’s Events and Marketing Manager, Nadia Duncan, adds; “We are extremely grateful to Colin Glen for enabling us to host this wicked fundraising event over the school half-term holiday and our lucky supporters are in for a real treat, no tricks, as they will be among the first to brave Ireland’s longest zipline for a frightfully good cause. Almost 90% of NICHS’s care and prevention services and research are funded exclusively by public donations, so if you and the (big) kids are looking for a magical day out to remember while helping us continue to be there for people who need us most, come have a scream with us this Halloween.”
