Belfast Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of St. Anne is located in the city centre and offers a place to worship and relax.
The Cathedral is a very grand and beautiful building that sits within the thriving Cathedral Quarter. St. Anne’s is a Cathedral of the Church of Ireland and is part of the Anglican Communion. It has two Bishop’s seat due to serving two dioceses – that of Connor and Down & Dromore.
The Dean of the Cathedral is The Very Rev, Stephen Forde who has served as the Dean of Belfast since 2018.
At Christmas, the Cathedral becomes central to the ‘Black Santa’ tradition. Led by Dean Sammy Crooks, the tradition has been continued for 41 years and raises money for local charities including Christian Air, medical research charities, and charities focused on helping children and the elderly.
Parking is available within Cathedral grounds and is payable by debit/credit card.
