Belfast City Hall

Belfast City Hall is located in the heart of Belfast city centre in Donegall Square. It’s one of Belfast’s most iconic buildings, first opening its doors on the 1st August 1906. Belfast City Hall grounds and memorials are open for the public to walk around and enjoy.

If you have time there’s a coffee shop located inside Belfast City Hall called The Bobbin Café, it’s definitely worth a look inside the building while grabbing a coffee in the coffee shop.

There are also free tours of the building for the public to find out about the history and see inside. The tours are led by an experienced guide and last around an hour. It runs on a first-come, first-served basis and you normally should register about 10-15 mins before the tour starts to get a spot.
